Help
Short walkthroughs of everything a campaign can do — building the wiki, sharing it with your table, and running a session. Each one shows the steps as they look on screen.
Getting started
Building the wiki
- PagesGMEverything in the wiki is a page. Where a page sits in the tree is what makes it a character, a place or a faction.
- Writing and linkingWrite in place, and link pages to each other by mentioning them.
- Laying out a pageGMA page is a stack of blocks — text, images, lists of related pages. Add, reorder and tune them.
- Images, links and filesGMPut a picture at the top of a page, drop images between paragraphs, and attach links and handouts.
- Secrets and page ownersGMHide pages or single paragraphs from players, check what they see, and hand a page to a player to edit.
- Page historyGMGo back to an earlier version of a page.
Your table
- Invite your playersGMShare one link. People can join as players, or just read as guests without an account.
- Campaign settingsGMOne page for your people, the game the campaign plays, and the table's smaller preferences.
- NotesPlayersKeep your own notes on any page or session — private, shared with the GM, or public.
- The graphA map of how your pages mention each other — useful for spotting who is tied to what.
Sessions
- Session notesGMOne page per session: what happened, who was there, and who wrote it up.
- Recording a sessionGMRecord your Discord voice channel and get drafted session notes afterwards.
- AI suggestionsGMLet an assistant propose links, new pages and updates from your session notes. Nothing changes until you accept it.
Playing
- The Table TopThe shared table for the session: what the GM puts on it, everyone sees.
- Getting readyGMStage what you will need, from the wiki or from the table. There is no separate prep screen.
- Character sheets and rollingSavage Worlds sheets that build themselves correctly and roll with one click.
- EncountersGMPlan a fight on a page or on its map, look it over, then run it with action cards and turns.
- Maps in the wikiGMAdd a map to a page and get it ready: its scale, markers, and who stands on it.
- Maps at the tableLook around, move pieces, measure, and lay areas.
- Walls and lightGMDraw walls and doors, set the light and place torches, so players see only what their characters can.
- Homebrew rulesGMAdd your own gear, edges, powers and creatures so sheets can use them.
- Roll tablesWrite a table once, then roll it from its page, a handout, the Console or a fight's loot: rumours, weather, whatever you'd otherwise roll a die for and look up.
