Writing and linking
Write in place, and link pages to each other by mentioning them.
1Click and type
There is no edit mode. If you may edit a page, click its text and start typing. A toolbar appears with bold, italic, headings, lists, quotes, links and a divider.
Your work saves by itself a few seconds after you stop typing, and again when you click away.
2Mention another page
Type @ and the start of a name, then pick from the list with the arrow keys and Enter. The mention becomes a link, and hovering it shows a preview of that page.
Mentions are what tie the wiki together: the page you mentioned now lists this one under Recent references, and the two are joined in the graph.
3Link the names you already typed
If your text contains a page's name or alias as plain words, a Link mentions row appears under the editor. Choose a name to turn it into a mention, or the × to leave it alone.
4If a save fails
You will see Changes have not been saved with a Retry save button, and your text stays put. If the browser closes first, the page offers Restore draft the next time you open it.
